How to Root the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III Running Android 4.1.2

  1. Thanks for the thorough guide. I only wonder how to go back to stock 4.1.2 directly without to flash to 4.1.1 and then take the OTA to 4.1.2?

thank you SO MUCH for this guide turns out i had the wrong bootchain before when i tried to root it but thanks to you I’ve got the right one

  3. This looks very helpful. Going to do it today. Only question is, though: Once this is finished, will my phone be reset back to stock or will all files and configs still be present and unchanged until I put a ROM on it.

Thanks so much for sharing this info!

I am not seeing the supersu bootloader file while in recovery. I did what you said and copied the file to phone memory not the sd card.

    Any suggestions?
