The Samsung Repp is a US Cellular smartphone that runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread as its OS. If you happen to own this smartphone, there’s a good news for you. Rooting has so many advantages and if you use it appropriately, you’ll never be bored with your device. So, here’s how you can root your Samsung Repp smartphone.

  1. one comment here, no one ansered him. 17 days ago? anyone els get this to work? i want to know before i try it. thanks

  2. Had the same problem, fixed it by going to settings > Privacy > Factory Restore (also wiped my SD Card)Then when ibooted up odin i put the .opd file it had in there and loaded the one package afterwards, worked.

  3. I’ve tried multiple times and I just can’t seem to get this to work. Everything goes fine but it just won’t root.

  4. There was one key bit if info that they left out. Before choosing the “one package” file you have to add the schr720.ops to the “select ops”. That was the only way my phone got rooted.

  5. When I start Odin, and enter the SCHR720.ops file and the Samsung-Repp-Root.tar file, and put my phone in download mode(shows downloading in yellow) and click START in Odin, Odin just says “PLEASE CONNECT PHONES!!”. Nothing happens. I have done the settings > Privacy > Factory Restore step in the post below(from iEatNoodlez_) but nothing happens!
