How to Unroot the Samsung Rugby Smart I847

Need to send in your device for any warranty purpose? Want to reinstate the warranty of the device? No worries, here’s how you can do that. While rooting takes away the warranty of your device, unrooting restores it and lets you enjoy all free services at the service center. Here’s how you can unroot your Samsung Rugby Smart I847 smartphone.

I. Before You Begin:

1. You should have rooted your device using the procedure given here.

2. Make sure your device has at least 50% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Terminal EmulatorQR Code (Google Play Link)

III. Unrooting the Samsung Rugby Smart I847:

1. Head over to Google Play and download and install the Terminal Emulator app on your device.

2. Once installed, open it from your App Drawer.

3. Type in following commands into the app hitting ENTER after each line:

su
mount -o remount,rw /system
rm /system/app/Superuser.apk
rm /system/sbin/su
reboot

4. Your device should reboot and you should be unrooted!

5. You’re done!

Great! Your device has been unrooted and the SU binaries have been removed from your device, leaving no signs of root.
