AT&T Updates Original Galaxy Note With Jelly Bean, Verizon Brings Android 4.1.2 to the Galaxy Note 2

Today just got a little sweeter for owners of the original Samsung Galaxy Note, as AT&T announced that the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is now available.

Jelly Bean includes features like Google Now, better notifications, and a new keyboard. Users can install the update through Samsung’s Kies desktop software via Windows or Mac, or users can download the application from Samsung’s website and then connect their device to prompt the software download. For more details on the update head to Samsung’s website.

In other update news, Verizon began rolling out Android 4.1.2 for Galaxy Note 2 users.  This update includes the Multi-Window View functionality and several bug fixes. Galaxy Note 2 users can learn more about the update at Verizon’s site.
