How to Root the Huawei Ascend G300
Although being a budget-friendly device, the Huawei Ascend G300 features a huge 4″ inch screen along with a 1GHz processor. So the device would be liked by all kind of consumers as it’s got a nice screen and the performance is also good. If you’ve picked-up this device and would like to root it, probably to unlock its true potential and enjoy the root-only apps, then you’ve come to the right place. In this guide, we’re gonna show you how you can root your Huawei Ascend G300 smartphone, so get ready and here you go:
I. Before You Begin:
1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.
2. Make sure your device has at least 50% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. SuperRecovery (Download link’s available in the first post)
III. Rooting the Huawei Ascend G300:
1. Download and place the SuperRecovery archive onto your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Turn OFF your device.
4. Pull the battery out of your device and put it back in after a couple of seconds.
5. Press and hold the Volume DOWN+Power buttons together and you’ll boot into bootloader mode.
6. Connect your device to your PC via USB cable.
7. Double-click on the install-superrecovery-windows.bat file you extracted earlier to your Desktop.
8. It’ll do the rest of the work for you.
9. And you should be rooted now!
Congrats! Your Ascend G300 has been rooted and is now capable to be loaded with any kind of root-only apps!
