AT&T Galaxy S 4 Bug Affects Stock WiFi and Tethering, Fix On The Way

Users have discovered a bit of a bug when it comes to the newly released AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4. The issue affects how user’s interact with stock wi-fi hotspot and tethering. While some third-party services still work to allow tethering and wi-fi hotspot, AT&T’s direct menu support is not appearing to function on several Galaxy S 4 units.

Even though you may not be able to get extended internet connection from your handset through your normal menu right now, you do have a few options. The widget set Extended Controls is one which allows quick-access to your mobile hotspot, Bluetooth, and music. There’s also the Koush-made USB tether app which makes tethering undetectable by your carrier of choice.

The issue has been reported to Samsung who is working on the problem. Hopefully, a fix is on the way.
