How to Stop Push Email on an iPhone
Push Email is a functionality in iPhone that alerts you when a new email arrives in your inbox. It does so by lightning up the screen and showing you the brief email. It is, however, annoying when you’r doing some important work and you may want to disable it. Here’s how you can do that:
I. Before You Begin:
1. This should work for other iOS products as well, including the iPad and iPod Touch.
II. Stopping Push Email on an iPhone:
1. Tap the Settings icon on your screen.
2. Head to Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Turn the Push slider to OFF.
4. And you’re done!
Awesome! From now on, you won’t be alerted when a new email arrives in your inbox, and you will have to check your emails manually!
