More Moto X Details Leak Out: Moto Magic Glass, Laminated Aluminum Structure and Dual LTE MIMO Smart Antennas

The days leading up to a new device reveal are always saturated with last minute leaks, and this latest leak is thanks to Taylor Wimberly who is the former owner of A&M. Wimberly took to his Google+ page to reveal all of the dirty details that he was made privy to. Considering Wimberly’s track record is pretty accurate with the Moto X leaks we’re willing to bet that his intel is right on the money.

Taylor has described three different features of the Moto X, backed up by never before seen press shots. According to Taylor, the Moto X will rock Moto Magic Glass: a single layer of Gorilla Glass molded to a special polymer that makes a continuous surface. Essentially Moto Magic Glass wraps around the entire front and edges of the phone. Additionally, the Moto X will have zero gap construction, which allows users to relish in a seamless feel along the backside.

The second feature that Wimberly mentions is that the Moto X will have a laminated aluminum structure for a lightweight and high strength design. Perfect for users who want a light phone that they can get rough with and not have to worry.

The last feature mentioned is the new addition of the Dual LTE MIMO Smart Antennas, which is expected to provide exceptional data speeds and better reception than most devices. The device will have two antennas dedicated to 4G LTE, with five antennas being fit inside in total. There will be the 4G main, 4G diversity, 2G/3G main, GPS and finally the Bluetooth and WiFi antenna.

This device is turning out to be one beast of a contender if all these rumors pan out to be true. Who else is pumped for the August 1st reveal?
