MoboLive Launcher Released

The creators of the MoboRobo tool have come up with this new launcher called MoboLive that allows users to replace their default launcher. One of the most interesting features about this launcher is the amount of things that come bundled in it. From security that lets you control what apps run on start up, to a file manager, to a backup tool. Here’s a quick run down of all the interesting features this launcher has to offer.

MoboLive has built in themes like other launchers and they have a market with a decent amount of other themes to choose from. Once a theme’s been downloaded, you can apply it to your device with a single tap and you can easily revert back to the default theme with another tap.

If you’re concerned about the security of the data stored on your device, the launcher has a security app built in. It lets you modify what apps to allow to be launched on startup and what are the apps that are suspicious according to the MoboLive.

Widgets are what allow us to quickly access something without even having to launch a particular app. The MoboLive comes with a number of included widgets and can still utilize any widgets downloaded from the Play Store as well.

Sick of seeing the same transition effect while swiping through the screens? This launcher’s got some additional effects you can apply to your screens. Holding down on your homescreen and tapping Effects will list out all the different effects you can apply, and it’s all just a single tap of thing, nothing more.

The launcher includes an iPhone style you can select for your folders should that be your preference or normal Android style.

MoboLive has a single-tap tool that could backs up all of your apps and data. With the backup tool included in the launcher, it can be a little easier to save all of your apps and then maybe get your hands dirty by rooting/flashing ROMs, etc.

Battery life isn’t the best with most Android devices so MoboLive claims to be able to extend it with their built in batter saver feature included with the launcher. It can take care of what resources to use at what times, which can result in better battery life for your device.

Have a lot of folders on your device? Manage them with the built-in file manaer. As the name implies, it lets you manage folders and files on your device, organize them by whatever criteria you choose, etc.

Chances are that you probably have a lot of apps on your device. Managing them can be a cumbersome task if you don’t use an app manager. Conveniently, MoboLive has an app manager built-in that allows you to easily install and uninstall apps, search for all the APKs you have on your device, and more.

If you’ve an app that you don’t want your kids to be able to use or perhaps just don’t need to see in your app drawer every time you open it, you can hide it. Doing so will hide the app from your App Drawer but it’ll continue to exist on your device.
