How to Root the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Verizon)

If you have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 from Verizon and are interested in rooting it, you’re at the right place. The guide below shows how you can gain root-access on your device and then flash a custom recovery on it. So go ahead and do it right away:

I. Before You Begin:

1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.

2. This should work on all the platforms, including Windows, Mac and Linux.

3. You must have Java installed on your PC. If you don’t, please head to the official Java website and download and install it on your PC.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Download the CASUAL tool and save it to your desktop.

III. Rooting the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Verizon):

1. Enable the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu > Settings > Developer options > USB debugging.

2. Plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.

3. Double-click on CASUAL and it should launch.

4. From the dropdown menu, choose Galaxy Note 10.1 Verizon Jailbreak.

5. Hit Do It button in the tool to start the process.

6. A prompt will appear warning you about what it’s gonna do, hit the Continue button.

7. It should install the Framaroot app on your device.

8. On your tablet, hit Frodo button in the Framaroot app.

9. Then hit I did it button in the tool.

10. It’ll then root and install the recovery on your device.

11. Once it’s done, your device should automatically reboot into the TWRP Recovery mode.

12. You’re all set!
