How to Move Close Button in Safari to the Right in iOS 7 (Video)

If you are left handed and like to use Safari, this might be the tweak for you. Normally, in Safari, the close button is on the left side of the tabs when viewing all tabs and for a lefty, that just doesn’t seem fair. Using a simple tweak that’s free in the Cydia store, you can easily move that X button over to the right and make life that much easier for yourself. (Let’s face it, an easier way to close your Safari tabs on a bad day might just save you from throwing you phone at a hobo. Go ahead and pretend like you don’t know what I’m talking about.)

I. Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad

To do this procedure you must be jailbroken. If you aren’t, you can head to our Jailbreak How To’s section and pick the jailbreak for your version of iOS (currently at the time of writing this is 7.0.6). Once done with that procedure and you have Cydia installed, head back here to continue.

II. Install RightX

1. Open Cydia.

2. Tap Search in the bottom right corner.

3. Type in RightX.

4. Tap on RightX when it shows up.

5. Tap Install in the top right corner.

6. Tap Confirm.

7. Tap Restart.

III. Setup RightX

1. There is no setup required. Simply install the tweak and it will automatically move the close button in Safari tabs to the right.

Enjoy!
