How to Add an App Launcher to the Lock Screen in iOS 7 (Video)

There are several reason why iPhones are so popular, and one of those reason is iOS. In many ways, iOS 7 was a great overhaul, but it’s still as rigid as ever when it comes to customizing. JellyLock7 is a great tweak that adds an app launcher on the lock screen, and lets you launch apps upon unlocking with swiping gestures. To those of us who are familiar with “the other OS,” Android, you might notice a similarity in the lock screen. Check out how to install and use JellyLock7 in the video and instructions below!

I. Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad

To do this procedure you must be jailbroken. If you aren’t, you can head to our Jailbreak How To’s section and pick the jailbreak for your version of iOS (currently at the time of writing this is 7.0.4). Once done with that procedure and you have Cydia installed, head back here to continue.
