How to Add a Matrix “Rain” Effect to the Lock Screen in iOS 7 (Video)
Need something to show off the fact that your iPhone is jailbroken? How about adding a Matrix movie style raining text effect to the lock screen? Yeah, that’ll make them go “what the…” (while possibly also making them go “nerd!” but who cares, right?).
A tweak called RainLock does just that by adding a fun matrix-like animated raining text effect to your device’s lock screen. You can customize the text, the color, the speed, etc. to make it more suitable to your liking, but it does also default to the movie’s signature green alien-looking writing if that’s more your thing. It isn’t the cheapest of jailbreak tweaks by being priced at $2.50, but if you get one shocked/jealous look from a friend, might be worth it? Maybe?!
I. Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad
1. To do this procedure you must be jailbroken. If you aren’t, you can head to our How to Jailbreak iOS 7.0.6 (the latest version at the time of writing this). Once done with that procedure and you have Cydia installed, head back here to continue.
II. Install RainLock
1. Open Cydia.
2. Tap Search in the bottom right corner.
3. Type in RainLock.
4. Tap on RainLock when it shows up.
5. Tap Purchase at the top right and follow the prompts to login and purchase using your preferred method.
6. Tap Close when you’ve paid.
7. Tap Install where Purchase used to be.
8. Tap Restart.
III. Use RainLock
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap on RainLock.
3. Adjust the settings as you see fit for the color, speed, text, etc.

You can also download any rednsow for ios 7 and insert limera1n into the redsn0w script, however now that pangu is out that is not worth the effort.
Once you get the ipangu software plug it into you phone- Your phone should be on. Click the black button with ??? on it. Change your date and time to 2nd june 8:30pm exit settings and wait untill a new app appears. click on it, and leave you phone plugged into the pc. do not close the app or turn of your phone. when this stage is complete it should automatically restart, and your phone will look completely new but with a cydia icon, open that. and after a while you will reebot again, getting some messages in english eg.”This wont kill us, will it” or “Enjoy your jailbreak ^.^” The enjoy your jailbreak screen may last a while, do not panic. It should do that phase about twice. then your phone will be as normal, with cydia all your data and a chinese black market app. You do not have to use the chinese black market app lol/
