How to Unroot the Micromax Unite 2

Have you been wondering how you could go about unrooting your Micromax Unite 2? Well, wonder not anymore. The guide below should help you unroot your device and get it back to stock.

Unrooting is the process of removing root access, a custom recovery (if you have one), and just trying to get the device back to as close to stock as possible.

Some of the reasons for unrooting your Micromax Unite 2 are:

  • Sending in the device for warranty (most, but not all unrooting procedures reinstate the manufacturer warranty if you had one before rooting).
  • Starting over (simply undoing everything you did while rooted so you can have a clean slate to start over).
  • Fix any issues (Maybe rooting messed something up? No problem, unrooting will take care of it for you).

Ready to get started? Here’s how to unroot the Micromax Unite 2:

I. Before You Begin

1. You should’ve rooted your device using the procedure given here.

2. You must have a custom recovery in order to do this procedure. If you used the procedure on our site to root your device, you already have a custom recovery.

3. This should flash the stock firmware on your device.

II. Downloading Required Files

1. Download the recovery flashable stock firmware for your device and save it to your desktop.

Before going to next step i like to take backup of my stock … is it possible ..? plz help

    1. Why do you want to take a backup of your stock ROM? If there’re some important files stored on your device, simply copy them over to your PC and they’ll all be safe.

Our procedure above has the stock firmware, that you can flash on your device in case something goes wrong after rooting.

      Hope this helps!
