How to Change the Font on the LG G3

Sick of the way the text looks on your LG G3? Well, LG thoughtfully has given you a way to satiate that urge. The LG G3 has an option in the settings to not only change between the pre-loaded fonts LG loaded on the device, but also (depending on the model you have) download and install new fonts from their own marketplace. Simply find one to your liking, download it, and boom, an entirely new look to the device.

In addition to this changing the font throughout the system on the device, it will also change the font in any apps that utilize the system font (a setting a developer can set when building an app) so it’ll give a new look to those apps as well.

If you want to give it a try, here’s how to change the font on the LG G3.

      1. Sorry, this seems to only work on some LG G3’s. I had no idea as it was in mine and any other I saw. Wondering if they removed it or if it just is only for specific ones?

  3. Makes me sad i don’t have the option of changing the font without having to add other apps in order to change the font, but then even doing tha it only changes the app in some places not throughout the phone. #sad #iwanttochangemyfont!

    1. And you now know why I can’t stand all the carrier’s extra crap they put on the phone. I just want vanilla Android and maybe some small, modular changes. #annoyed #IWantToNotNeedToChangeMyFont 🙂
