How to Unroot the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active

Maybe you flashed a custom ROM on your Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and you don’t like it anymore? Maybe you want to send in your device for warranty purposes? Regardless of the reasoning, here’s how to unroot your Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and get it back to stock.

Unrooting is the process of removing root access, a custom recovery (if you have one), and just trying to get the device back to as close to stock as possible.

Some of the reasons for unrooting your Samsung Galaxy S5 Active are:

  • Sending in the device for warranty (most, but not all unrooting procedures reinstate the manufacturer warranty if you had one before rooting).
  • Starting over (simply undoing everything you did while rooted so you can have a clean slate to start over).
  • Fix any issues (Maybe rooting messed something up? No problem, unrooting will take care of it for you).

  1. Can you upload to somewhere else? 12K/s from these hosts and its going to take 18hrs. I have tried home and work pc and both max out at 25K/s. I have a 300 down connection so its not me.

  2. Horrendously slow mirror. I cap at 35mbps and am getting a cap of 20kbps. Stop using rapidgator they are a horrible file sharing site. Use the money from your ads to use a real hub.
