1. Make sure you’re wearing your Apple Watch.

2. Ensure that you are within bluetooth range of your iPhone, or that your Apple Watch and iPhone are connected to the same WiFi network.

3. When receiving a call, the Apple Watch will alert you via haptic vibration.

4. Choose either Accept or Decline, or scroll down via the Digital Crown for more options: Send a Message, or Answer on iPhone.

How to Make a Call with the Apple Watch

Follow these steps in order to make a call from your Apple Watch:

1. Press the side button to bring up your contact list.

2. Tap on the contact you’d like to phone.

3. Click the phone icon on the bottom left of the contact screen to confirm the call.

An alternate, hands-free way to phone a friend from your Apple Watch is by way of Siri:

1. Make sure the “Hey Siri” command is toggled on from your settings menu.

2. Speak “Hey Siri, call s0-and-so” to place your call.
