How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the Huawei Fusion 2 (AT&T)

A custom recovery is a replacement for your stock recovery that allows you to flash custom ROMs, Mods and almost all sorts of flashablr content. Getting a custom recovery installed on the Huawei Fusion 2 (AT&T) smartphone isn’t a difficult task at all, and here’s how you can do that:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Please head to our How to Root the Huawei Fusion 2 (AT&T) procedure first, finish it, then return to this procedure and continue.

2. This should flash the CWM Recovery on your device.

3. Make sure your device has at least 60% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. CWM Tool (Download link’s available in the first post)

III. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the Huawei Fusion 2 (AT&T):

1. Place the CWM Tool archive onto your Desktop.

2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.

3. Turn OFF your device.

4. Turn it back on by holding down Volume DOWN+Power buttons together for about twenty seconds.

5. You should now be in Fastboot mode.

6. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.

7. Now double-click on the file named as instalador.bat available on your Desktop.

8. Hit Spacebar and it will start flashing the recovery.

9. Once the recovery’s been flashed, reboot your device

10. You’re all set!

Wonderful! The CWM Recovery has been successfully flashed on your Huawei Fusion 2 and you can start flashing custom ROMs right away!
