Bootloader of the device has already been unlocked and getting root-access doesn’t seem to be a difficult task at all. Here’s how you can root your device and unlock its true potential:

I. Before You Begin:

1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.

2. You must have unlocked bootloader of your device. You can do so by following the instructions given in this guide.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. AIO Toolkit (Download link’s given in the first post)

III. Rooting the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE:

1. Download and place the Toolkit archive onto your Desktop.

2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.

3. Double-click on Toolkit’s executable file and it’ll open.

4. Enable the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.

5. Plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.

6. In the toolkit, click on TWRP in the Flash a Recovery section and hit Flash Recovery.

7. It’ll flash the TWRP Recovery on your device.

8. Once the recovery has been flashed, click on Perm Root option available in the Extras section and hit Run.

9. It should root your device.

10. Once you’re rooted, reboot your device.

11. You’re all done!

Brilliant! Your device’s been rooted as well as equipped with a custom recovery to help you flash ROMs and Mods!

  1. Excited to give this a shot! I’m so tired of waiting for Jelly Bean to hit my device. This seems to be the easiest to follow guide I’ve seen so far for this device. I’ll report back with my experience.

    1. Yep, it’s kinda exciting if you’re doing it for the first time in your life. Root along with a custom recovery will definitely help you get the JB up and running on your device in no time.
