This tutorial will show you how to trick the Android Market into thinking you’re in a different country in order to download applications that are available abroad.

Before You Begin:

1. You need to have a rooted Android device.

I. Download Files:

1. You need to download “MarketEnabler.apk” for the application itself, you can find it in Android Market or in external links.

II. Install the Market Enabler Application:

1. First you must make sure your device allows for non-Market applications to be installed. From the home screen on your phone, press menu > settings > applications > make sure that “Unknown Sources” box is checked.
2. Using any file manager, locate the MarketEnabler.apk file you downloaded and install the application.
3. Download and install it directly from Android Market on your device.

III. Use it:

1. Access the application’s Country List and tap in whatever Market Country you want.
2. Once registered in that country you can notice the Market`s differences.
3. To undo and come back to your country, all you need to do is either reboot or go in to the flight mode.

Galaxy Note root has been made possible thanks to Zerg’s Root Exploit. Zerg’s exploit is one click rooting, so everything should run clean and smooth.

Before You Begin:

• Disclaimer: This procedure has been verified to work without wiping any data from your Galaxy Note; nevertheless, please consider backing up your internal memory before proceeding to root your device!

I. You will need:

1. A Windows PC;
2. The latest drivers for your Samsung Note (Samsung KIES – original webpage);
3. The Zerg’s Root Exploit application (from here)

Make sure you have a decent charge on your battery. I personally would not attempt this with less than 50% battery but I recommend having a fully charged battery just to be safe.

II. Download File:

1. You can find the Zerg’s Root Exploit here;
2. Unzip it into a new folder (on your desktop)

III. Enable “USB Debugging” on your Note:

1. Go to Settings->Applications->Development and select the debugging option;
2. Enable “Unknown sources” from previous menu as well.

IV. Execute the exploit:

1. Go to the folder where you have unzipped the exploit (on your desktop);
2. Double click on “runme.bat” file;
3. You are prompted to connect the phone; connect your Note and press any key for the automated root procedure to start.

V. Reboot:

1. During the process the device will reboot. After reboot, your Galaxy Note is successfully rooted.

Requirements:

• An USB cable (the one that came with your phone or any USB cable that you are using to connect your Android phone to the computer)
• A Mac or PC application (Salling Media Sync)
• Your Android device and a Mac or a PC

I. Download the Application:

• Go to http://www.salling.com/MediaSync/mac/ if you own a Mac, or go to http://www.salling.com/MediaSync/Windows/ if you own a PC.

• If you need to sync photos as well, you also need to download Adobe Photoshop Elemets 6.x – 8.x (from here: http://download.cnet.com/Adobe-Photoshop-Elements/3000-2192_4-10057110.html)

II. Install Salling Media Sync on Your Computer:

1. Download the application on your desktop then double click on the file;
2. Start the installation (it will take around 5 mins)
3. In the meanwhile, connect your phone to the computer

III. Mount Your Android Disk Drive:

1. After Salling Media Sync is installed on your computer, it will prompt you to make your phone’s storage available;
2. You just have to swipe down the notification area and reveal the “Connect to PC” menu;
3. Choose “Disk Drive – mount as disk drive” option. That will let Salling Media Sync see your Android’s storage.

IV. Sync:

1. Salling Media Sync now can see you phone’s storage as an external storage
2. Go directly to Music or Podcasts tab and check everything you need to sync between iTunes and your Android device.

Paid vs. Unpaid Version – Salling Media:

* The free version of Salling Media will synchronize your entire library every time you need to sync, whereas the paid one will just add the songs missing (therefore it will take much less time to sync using the paid version).

Thanks to Wugfresh over at XDA, Galaxy Nexus users now have an even easier way to relock their bootloaders and restore their device back to stock, out of box state, with a neat little program. So, if you need to send your Nexus in for warranty reasons or just feel like starting over, here’s how.

I. Before You Begin

1. This will erase all data on your device so please make sure to back everything up before beginning.

2. This program only works for Windows.

3. During this procedure, we will assume you did our How To Root the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (One Click Method) (LTE and GSM Versions) and have the proper drivers installed as well as this program already available. If you didn’t use the procedure to root, don’t worry, this WILL still work for you but you may have to refer to the rooting procedure to get drivers installed etc then come back to this to continue.

II. Unroot the Galaxy Nexus

1. On your phone, make sure USB debugging is turned ON under Settings > Developer Options.2. Plug your phone in via USB cable.3. Open the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit that should still be on your computer from the How To Root procedure. If you don’t have it, head to that procedure to download it from there, do the setup the drivers steps if necessary and then continue with this procedure.4. Click on Flash Stock + Unroot and follow the prompts.5. Once done, click on OEM Lock and wait for the phone to prompt you, click Yes and wait for it to reboot.

6. All done!

Thanks to Wugfresh over at XDA, Galaxy Nexus users now have an even easier way to unlock their bootloaders, gain root access, and even flash a custom recovery image all with a neat little program. So, ready to set your Nexus free? Here’s how.

I. Before You Begin

1. This will erase all data on your device so please make sure to back everything up before beginning.

2. This program only works for Windows.

II. Setup Drivers

1. Download the program from the developer’s page and save it to your computer.

Wugfresh Galaxy Nexus Toolkit (download link under Downloads in the first post on that page)

2. Right click the program and select Run as Administrator and wait for it to open.3. On your device, under Settings > Developer Options turn ON USB debugging.4. In the program select which device you are using, LTE/Verizon Nexus, or GSM/HSPA+ Nexus.5. Click on Drivers under Initial Setup and follow the prompts to install the drivers for your device.6. When it tells you to plug in your device, plug in your device via USB cable.

*If it doesn’t install the drivers or freezes, hit Control + Alt + Delete on your computer keyboard, then Task Manager and then click on the Gnex program and close it. After that reopen it and then install the drivers manually, by going to the folder that was created by the Gnex program (C: > Wugs_GnexRootToolkit and clicking on data and then Verizon Galaxy Nexus Drivers at the bottom of the folder.**If it still doesn’t install the drivers, go to our How To Setup ADB procedure and using that and/or PDANet there. Once you see a serial number after clicking on List Devices under Quick Tools in the program, you can continue.

III. Unlock the Bootloader and Root the Device

1. Once drivers are installed, check to make sure your device can be seen by the program by clicking on List Devices under Quick Tools. So long as it shows a serial number you are ready to go to the next step.

2. Now, click Unlock under Unlock + Root and wait for your device to prompt you. When it does, select Yes using the volume buttons and wait for it to reboot.

3. Once, it has unlocked the bootloader, click on Root under Unlock + Root and wait for it to finish.

4. Done, you now have an unlocked bootloader, root access, and a custom recovery image, you can now go on to flashing custom ROMs if you want.

IV. Load a Custom ROM (Optional)

1. Head to our How To Flash a Custom ROM on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus procedure.

In the event that your phone will not boot into your bootstrap or safestrap recovery, you will need a way to restore your phone. Luckily we have fastboot files for the Droid Razr which means you should be able to recovery from any software problem. But if you are just looking for a way to remove your custom ROM, remove SU privileges, and return to factory conditions, then this will work for you as well…but proceed with caution.

Before You Begin:

• Disclaimer: This procedure has been verified to work but you are completely flashing the internal memory of your phone. The system, boot, and data partitions will all be erased and rewritten. Anything stored on the internal 16GB SD card will be erased (external SD card will not be touched). This procedure is to be used as a last resort and if you do not follow the steps properly, if you unplug your device during the process, etc., you could permanently “brick” your device (I haven’t tested that for obvious reasons but similar procedures with different devices have been known to cause major problems if not done correctly).

1. This method requires a Windows PC.
2. You will need to have ADB properly set up on your computer. If you have not set up Android SDK please CLICK HERE
3. RSD Lite version 5.6 or greater is required.
4. Make sure you have a decent charge on your battery. I personally would not attempt this with less than 50% battery but I recommend having a fully charged battery just to be safe.

2. Download the latest fastboot files for the correct version of phone you have (CDMA or UMTS).
3. For Verizon versions, you may need to download HJSplit which is also listed at the bottom of the post @ XDA. NOTE: The downloads for the Verizon fastboot files are split into two downloads on the posts above. You have to rejoin them together using HJSplit (unless you download the full .zip the file below)

• For the current file for the UMTS version, you must look for the correct version to download because there are several different GSM versions of the Razr and it appears like each one has a completely different .zip file.

Boot Into Boot Mode Selection Menu (AKA Fastboot Menu):

1. Power down your device
2. Press and hold the Vol+ and Vol- keys, then press and hold the power button until a white screen appears and you can now release all three buttons.
3. Use the Vol- key (and ONLY the Vol- key) to scroll through the list. Scroll until “AP Fastboot” is highlighted and press the Vol+ key to select it.

Prepare to Flash the Fastboot Files:

1. Connect the USB cable to both your PC and phone. NOTE: At this time, you may see drivers trying to install but they may not all be successful (that’s okay). But your computer does need to recognize your Razr as a ADB interface device (if it does not, you probably do not have ADB configured properly and you will not be able to flash your phone.
2. Open RSD Lite and use the program (button to the right of the “Filename:” box) to open the .zip file containing your fastboot files.
3. When prompted, select the “Uncompress Only” button on your PC.
4. After it has uncompressed the files, ensure that RSD Lite shows “connected” on one of the ports and make sure that your phone shows “USB Connected”. If you are still not connected you may need to unplug the device and plug it back in (I had to do this one of the times I did this procedure).
5. Press the “Start” button at the top of the RSD Lite application and let it do it’s thing. Don’t touch the phone, don’t unplug the phone…just walk away or sit quietly and watch. RSD Lite will show you the current status and there are 18 steps listed that it must go though (it goes really fast until step 12). This process should take approximately 15-20 minutes in total so BE PATIENT and just wait!
6. Once the 18 steps have completed, your phone will reboot…JUST KEEP WAITING. You will see the stock recovery screen and it will need a few minutes to flash the factory ROM.
7. When you see the phone’s lock screen you disconnect the USB cable and close RSD Lite.
8. Breathe a sigh of relief…cause you have restored your phone to factory condition!

Now that you have installed the Bootstrap recovery, You probably want to flash a custom ROM. If you are familiar with Clockwork Mod recovery, then you will feel right at home.

Before You Begin:

1. You must have a rooted Droid Razr. Click here if you have not done this yet: http://theunlockr.com/2012/01/04/how-to-root-the-motorola-droid-razr/
2. No other recovery application or recovery can be loaded. 2 different recoveries (Bootstrap and Safestrap) loaded together is a bad thing and bad things will happen. Make sure if you have installed Safestrap previously, that you remove the recovery and remove the application from your device.
3. You also must have installed the Bootstrap application and recovery. Click here to see how:

Choose a ROM You Want to Flash:

1. Download a ROM of choice for the Droid Razr and put the zip file on the root of your SD card. If you download the ROM from your device, you will probably need to move this from the ‘sdcard’ (internal flash memory) directory to the ‘sdcard-ext’ (external flash memory).
2. It is always a good idea to verify the checksum of the downloaded ROM file. Most developers provide the MD5 checksum. You can check this using your phone by downloading a free app like AFV (Android File Verifier).
3. In the video above, we are using “The Arctic” ROM found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1385428
4. Note: If you have used our procedure for making CWM available on boot, you will want to ensure the “RAZR-CWMOnBoot-Global-J.Y.Daddy.zip” file is still located on your SD card. We’ll explain later why you need this.

To access the Clockwork Mod Based Recovery:

1. If you are NOT using the “CMW on boot” hack by J.Y.Daddy:
2. Launch the Razr Bootstrapper application you installed previously.
3. Click the “Bootstrap Recovery” button.
4. Then click on the “Reboot Recovery” button.
5. When your phone reboots, you will be greeted by the main CWM Recovery menu.

1. If you ARE using the “CMW on boot” hack:
2. Simply reboot your phone (power down and power back on).
3. When your phone boots you will be greeted by the main CWM Recovery menu.

Make a Backup:

1. Using your Vol+ and Vol- keys, navigate to the entry labeled “backup and restore” and use your power button to select it.
2. Select “backup” and give it 5-10 minutes to complete a full backup of your current stock ROM (this isn’t required but it is always a good idea to make a backup before you install new a new ROM or make any changes to your system files).

Prepare to Install ROM:

• Caution: This will erase all of your system files, user applications, and settings. Files (pictures, documents, downloaded files etc.) on your internal sd card as well as you external sd card will still remain.

1. Always follow the exact instructions provided by the developer of the ROM you are installing. The instructions below are generic and used by default when no special instructions are given.
2. In the main menu of the Bootstrap recovery, navigate to and select “wipe data/factory reset” – then confirm and let that run (5 minutes or so).
3. Navigate to and select “wipe cache partition” – then confirm (this is done pretty quickly).
4. Next, navigate and enter the “advanced” menu.
5. Optional in most cases: Select “Wipe Dalvik Cache” – then confirm (again, this is pretty quick).
6. Use the *****Go Back***** link at the bottom of the screen to get back to the main menu and select “Install zip from sdcard”.
7. Now select “choose zip from sdcard” and navigate to the location on your external sd card where you placed your ROM zip file and select it using your power button. Then confirm the install when prompted.

• If you are NOT using the “CMW on boot” hack by J.Y.Daddy:

1. Use the *****Go Back***** link at the bottom of the screen to get back to the main menu and select “reboot system now”.
2. NOTE: You will not have the ability to boot into CWM unless you launch it from the Razr Bootstrapper application. If something goes wrong and you cannot boot into your ROM (boot loop for example), you are pretty much hosed and will need to use flashboot files to restore your phone.

• If you ARE using the “CMW on boot” hack:

1. You must install the “RAZR-CWMOnBoot-Global-J.Y.Daddy.zip” file again immediately after installing the new ROM (do not reboot first). The J.Y.Daddy hack will be undone when you install a new ROM because installing a new ROM writes over the boot and system partitions. Re-installing this hack will ensure you can still boot into recovery without actually being able to boot into your phone.

Reboot your device and walk away once you see the new ROM has loaded and you are greeted with the welcome screen. Give the new ROM a chance to settle in (5-10 minutes is good). This may sound unnecessary but it usually helps with initial problems and apps force closing when you do this.

This tutorial will show you how to install Bootstrap Recovery on your Motorola Droid Razr. We will also show you how to use Bootstrap in two different ways. You can launch recovery from the Bootstrap application from within your phone, or you can set it up so that you will boot into recovery every time your phone reboots. Install the Bootstrapper Application:

1. First you must make sure your device allows for non-Market applications to be installed. From the home screen on your phone, press menu > settings > applications > make sure that “Unknown Sources” box is checked.
2. Using any file manager, locate the Bootstrap.apk file you downloaded and install the application.

Install the Bootstrapper Application and Reboot Into CWM Recovery:

1. Open the Razr Bootstrapper application.
2. Click on the “Bootstrap Recovery” button.
3. When prompted, grant Superuser permissions (make sure to check the box to always allow if it is not already checked).
4. Now click on the “Reboot Recovery” button.
5. Now is a good time to make an initial backup. To do so, navigate to: backup and restore > then select “backup”
6. Note: If want to stop here you can…but you will not be able to access CWM unless you boot into your phone and launch the Razr Bootstrap application (if your phone gets messed up and will not boot into your ROM, there will be no way to boot into recovery to fix it).

Install File to Allow Recovery Boot (highly recommended if you use Bootstrap):

1. From within CWM Recovery, navigate to: Install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard > then locate and select the “RAZR-CWMOnBoot-Global-J.Y.Daddy.zip” file and then confirm.
2. Now reboot your phone.
3. Note: If you restore a backup or flash another ROM, you will need to immediately flash this file again. Anytime the system partition is rewritten (which happens on both examples) this file is overwritten as well.

Change Superuser Permission for the Razr Bootstrap application (very important):

1. Open the Superuser application and toggle the status of the SU permission to “Denied” by clicking the Android face on the bottom of the screen.
2. Now reboot your phone one more time. Based on our testing, you will reboot normally (no CWM on boot) but if you reboot a second time, you will boot into CWM Recovery.

To Remove CWM Recovery and Application:

1. If you need to undo these changes, the developer for the .zip file used here made a post about how to remove everything but you should proceed with caution! The link and the post is quoted below

Choose a ROM You Want to Flash:

Enter Safe Mode:

• Navigate to and enter the “safe boot menu”.
• Select “Enable Safe System”. This will take a couple of minutes to run as it backs up some files (similar to what we did previously, but for different reasons). This backup that is being made is part of why this recovery is called Safestrap as you can actually disable safe system later to boot into your normal stock ROM without flashing or restoring anything manually.

Prepare to Install ROM:

• Caution: This will erase all of your user applications and settings. Files (pictures, documents, downloaded files etc.) on your internal sd card as well as you external sd card will still remain.
• In the main menu of the Safestrap recovery, navigate to and select “wipe data/factory reset” – then confirm and let that run (5 minutes or so).
• Navigate to and select “wipe cache partition” – then confirm (this is done pretty quickly).
• Next, navigate and enter the “advanced” menu
• Select “Wipe Dalvik Cache” – then confirm (again, this is pretty quick)
• Navigate to and enter the “mounts and storage” menu
• Select “format /system” – then confirm. This formats the 2nd system partition that was created when you first installed the Safestrap recovery. Your original ROM’s system files are left untouched (again…this is why it’s called Safestrap).
• Use the *****Go Back***** link at the bottom of the screen to get back to the main menu and select “Install zip from sdcard”
• Now select “choose zip from sdcard” and navigate to the location on your external sd card where you placed your ROM zip file and select it using your power button. Then confirm the install when prompted
• Again, use the *****Go Back***** link at the bottom of the screen to get back to the main menu and select “reboot system now”.

Reboot your device and walk away once you see the new ROM has loaded and you are greeted with the welcome screen. Give the new ROM a chance to settle in (5-10 minutes is good). This may sound unnecessary but it usually helps with initial problems and apps force closing when you do this.

Safestrap recovery is similar to Bootstrap recovery but it is designed to be a safer alternative. The recovery is “safer” because you actually create a second system partition on your Razr and all of the files on your primary system partition are not actually modified. You can still flash any ROM of choice but you have an safety net in case things go wrong. You can also boot into recovery from your initial boot screen so if you find yourself stuck in a boot loop…don’t worry.

Are you a little confused as to what all that means? In that case, this recovery solution is probably for you (don’t worry you seasoned pros…this is a recovery for you too).

Before You Begin:

• Your Recovery State should be listed as “Not Installed”. Go ahead and click the button labeled “Install Recovery”.
• Verify that your recovery state now is listed as “Installed”.

To access the Clockwork Mod Based Recovery:

• Power down your phone.
• Power your phone back on and when prompted, press your capacitive menu button (if you do not do this within 10 seconds of being prompted, you will reboot into your current OS).

To Completely Remove Safestrap:

• Open your Safestrap application.
• Click the button labeled “Uninstall Recovery”.
• Now uninstall the Safestrap application. To do this, from your home screen press menu > settings > applications > manage applications > scroll down until you see Safestrap and select it. Then simply click the button labeled “uninstall”.

DISCLAIMER: This method of unrooting is ONLY to be used if you used our root procedure! This script is specifically designed to undo the changes that DooMLoRD’s root script made. If you used another root method and you use this unroot method, you may brick your device!

2. Scroll down until you see the unroot section of DooMLoRD’s post and follow the link listed (currently it is labeled “read this” as seen below and points to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18879974#post18879974 but could be changed with time).

Connecting Your Phone:

1. On your phone, go to Settings > Applications > Development > and make sure “USB Debugging” is checked.
2. Connect the Droid Razr to your computer and select “Charge Only” as the USB connection method.
3. Open a command prompt and type in “adb devices” (without the quotes). You should get a return listing your Droid Razr. If you see “device not found” then adb is not properly set up.

Unroot:

1. Unzip the DooMLoRD file you downloaded (I recommend making a new folder but it doesn’t matter where you put the unzipped files as long as they are in the same directory).
2. Double click the “runme-UNROOT.bat” file
3. Your device will now reboot and you will no longer have root access and the Superuser app should be removed.

Confirmed Working: Motorola Version. 6.11.748.XT912.Verizon.en.US

NOTE: This root method was performed on a CDMA (Verizon) Droid Razr. GSM is listed as being supported by this method as well (but we cannot confirm that).

Before You Begin:

1. This method of rooting requires a Windows PC.
2. You will need to have ADB properly set up on your computer. If you are not set up with Android SDK please CLICK HERE

Downloading The Necessary Files:

1. Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1341578
2. Download the USB drivers from Motorola.
3. Download the latest version of ZERGRUSH by DooMLoRD (you may want to visit DooMLoRD’s actual thread to ensure you have the latest version).

Installing USB Drivers:

1. Install the Motorola drivers via the .exe file you have downloaded.
2. Reboot (this may not be required but is always a good idea).

Have an Ice Cream Sandwich Android device and want to take advantage of the new Android Beam feature and send apps, webpages, etc between your phones without the hassle of turning on Bluetooth, pairing, etc.? No problem, with Android Beam and NFC, you can easily tap the two devices together and transfer content in seconds. Here’s how.

I. Before You Begin

1. You must each have an Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) device and both have NFC. You can check this by going to Settings > About Phone for the Android version number and going to Settings and looking for NFC in the device settings menu).

II. Share via Android Beam (NFC)

1. Make sure that NFC is turned on in Settings > More > NFC and make sure that Android Beam is also on in the same section.

2. So long as those are both on, simply navigate to the content you want to share on your device (as if you are just looking at it yourself).

3. Hold the two devices back to back (they have to be almost touching) and you’ll feel a vibration.

4. After it vibrates you’ll see the content on your device turn into a card-like object with Star Trek warp speed-looking animation in the background.

5. Tap the card and the content will then load on the other person’s device.

I can’t be the only one that finds this stupid feud between Facebook and Google sharing data with one another to be completely ridiculous and hurting no one but the consumer. One of the downsides is that the Facebook syncing doesn’t work with the People app in Ice Cream Sandwich (or on the Galaxy Nexus for that matter). This means your Facebook contact pics, status updates etc won’t show up in those people’s contact cards like it is supposed.

Well, thanks to Paul over at Modaco, we have a solution.

I. Before You Begin

1. You must have done our How To Root the Samsung Galaxy Nexus procedure. If you haven’t do that and then come back to this one to continue.

2. You must have also done our How To Load a Custom ROM on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus procedure and loaded any custom ROM you want initially. Once you’ve done that, you can come back to this procedure and continue.

II. Flash Modaco’s Latest ROM with Facebook Sync Enabled

1. Download Modaco’s latest ROM AND the ROM update package underneath it as well from his site (it will take a while as his download host is quite slow and doesn’t allow you to download multiple files at once).

MCR ROM

2. Plug in your phone via USB cable.

3. Copy the MCR ROM .zip file AND the Add on .zip file over to the internal storage of your device. Make sure not to put it in any folders and to not unzip it.

4. Unplug the device.

5. Turn the device off.

6. Turn the device back on by holding down Volume Up, Volume Down, and Power at the same time. Let go once the bootloader screen comes up.

7. Hit Volume Up until you see the screen say Recovery Mode, then hit the Power button to select it.

8. Once the phone boots back into recovery mode, scroll down to backup and restore using the volume buttons and hit power to select it.

9. Then select Backup and wait for it to backup your current data, just in case.

10. Once it is done, scroll to Wipe Data and select it.

11. Then select Flash zip from sd card, then choose zip from sd card.

12. Then select the ROM .zip file and wait for that to flash.

13. After it is done flashing, repeat step 11 and this time choose the add on file and wait for that to flash.

14. Once, both have been flashed, hit reboot system now.

15. All done! Now, download the Facebook app, login, head to Settings > Accounts and Sync > Add Account and select Facebook.

16. Now, reboot the device and when it turns back on you should have your facebook contacts.

*Profile pic syncing will come soon, check back here and download the latest option pack from the link above where you got this one and flash it through recovery (no need to wipe) once he releases it.

There is a new file to use that is easier. You dont even have to be rooted (unless you are outside the US).

1. All you need is to be on Android 4.0.2 or higher (to check that go to Settings > About Phone).

2. Simply download the apk file from this link below and install it using any file manager (look for a file manager in the Market, install it, then open it and search for the apk file you downloaded from below and click it to install it).

I. Before You Begin

1. You must follow our How To Root the Samsung Galaxy Nexus procedure then once done, head back to this one and go to the next step.

2. Next, you must do our How To Load a Custom ROM on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus procedure, once done, head back here to continue.

II. Flash Google Wallet

1. Download the Google Wallet zip file and save it to your computer.

Google Wallet Flashable .zip

3. Plug your phone in and mount the internal storage so we can transfer files to it.

4. Copy the .zip file over to the root of the internal storage (NOT in any folders, just on the internal storage or sdcard itself).

5. Turn the phone off, then turn the phone back on by holding down Volume Down and Volume Up buttons and tap Power button until the device vibrates, then let go of the power button but keep holding the volume buttons until the recovery mode comes up.

6. Once in recovery mode, scroll to Backup, then select Backup and wait for the phone to backup its current ROM.

7. Once it is done, select Wipe Data

8. Then select Install zip from SD Card

9. Select Choose zip from sd card.

10. Select the .zip file you loaded onto the internal storage or sd card earlier and wait for it to flash.

11. Once done, select reboot system now.

III. Fix Permissions

1. Once it boots back up into Android, turn the phone off, then turn the phone back on by holding down Volume Down and Volume Up buttons and tap Power button until the device vibrates, then let go of the power button but keep holding the volume buttons until the recovery mode comes up.

2. Now, select Advanced > Fix Permissions.

3. Once done, select Reboot System Now.

4. Once it reboots to Android you are all set.
