Here are the setting for Vodafone Netherlands direct from their website. (copy and paste)
Handmatig instellen

this is my first time here an i wanted to kno how to get the internet on my phone
chanel said on October 15, 2009
because im not understanding how to do this
TheUnlockr said on October 16, 2009
Hello Chanel,
Ok, so you have an unlocked Sony phone, right? And you are using AT&T, right?
Go into the settings of the phone and there should be a place to either create an APN or a section called Mobile Network Settings, WAP Settings, Internet Settings, etc. Add a new one and put in the information written under AT&T in the fields it says (if some fields are missing, don’t worry it may just get those settings automatically).
chanel said on October 17, 2009
sorry im new to this stuff so i dont realy see any of that because wen i go to internet settings i go to internet profile next then SEMC WAP because the other profiles are locked an it ask’s for connect using use proxy proxy address and port # username an pw but i dont have the first 4 an without that i cant save

Angel,
Make sure that you selected that new APN as the primary APN and you must also have an internet data plan with TMobile.
Angel said on November 22, 2009
I will try that, thank you for your help.

hello i am going to root my g1 soon and i was wondering when i root it can i use an at&t sim card that has a data plan on it?
TheUnlockr said on February 4, 2010
Stefan,
Rooting and unlocking are not the same. Rooting does not allow you to use a different SIM card. You would need to pay for an unlock code to do that (we do it here for $25, click on the Unlock My Phone link at the top of the site).
Stefan said on February 4, 2010
So if I get it unlocked I can use an AT&T sim card and I wouldn’t have to root and I would still be able to go on the Internet with my AT&T sim card that has a data plan?
TheUnlockr said on February 5, 2010
Stefan,
Correct. You would need to put in the AT&T APN settings but those can be found here: http://theunlockr.com/support/internet-mms-settings/

Does anyone know how to put settings for AT&T for a htc HD2
Edwin said on June 3, 2010
Was wondering if any one knows how to get the Internet on a hd2 unlocked for AT&T?
TheUnlockr said on June 3, 2010
Edwin,
Yup, but it will only be EGDE speed (no 3G because the 3G frequencies on the HD2 do not support AT&T’s 3G frequencies).
To get the internet though, go into the settings and look for APN settngs/Internet Settings/Network Settings or something of that nature and add a new APN and put AT&T’s internet settings in the appropriate fields. Then save it and select that new APN. Reboot and you should see the little E appear by the phone signal.
Edwin said on June 5, 2010
I’ve tried but can’t figure it out, don’t see anything with apn. I see VPN but no apn does anyone have a hd2 with att that has Internet on it?
TheUnlockr said on June 5, 2010
Edwin,
Sorry if I had an hd2 with me I could find out for you what it’s called. Look for anything like Internet settings etc.
