Yes, before the device even came out, Paul over at Modaco has released a program that when run from the computer while the Nexus One is plugged in via USB and in bootloader mode, gains root access automatically (even installs Superuser and SU).

Multitouch, rooted apps, maybe even some custom ROMs (Sense UI or Rachael UI anyone?), here we go!

      The belief is in Jan. sometime. They will probably announce it at CES this week.

    The Lite-HTC Passion/Bravo/Dragon/Incredible aka Nexus One will be announced Tuesday Jan. 5th, 2010 the day before CES @ their headquarters…

    What sucks about this is that this will probably delay any chances of getting the FULL-HTC Passion/Bravo/Dragon/Incredible on TMobile even longer although it will cost the same…lol

    im getting this phone soon but i was wonder if i can also get it in a tmobile store or do i have to order it online on the google website???

      As far as we can tell, it is just being sold by Google at Google.com/phone
