Windows Phone 7 Ported to the HD2 Already? Possibly…

So this needs to be taken with a grain of salt considering how close we are to April Fool’s day, BUT regardless it’s either a pretty elaborate fake, or great news for HD2 users everywhere!

A few developers have seemed to have gotten Windows Phone 7 running on the HD2. They say it works pretty well minus these issues:

Bluetooth doesn’t work
Laggy cause of driver issues
No apps really work
NO DOWNGRADING BACK TO WM6.5 YET
No Marketplace, etc.

Now, here is where if this is a fake, it gets a little elaborate… two videos from the devs too (the truth is this COULD be done by running a GotoMyPC-like app on the phone and running the WP7 Emulator on the computer and displaying it on the phone’s screen, etc. but again, little far for a prank, so who knows).

So what do you guys think? This legit or a good April fools?

If it IS real, you can best believe we’ll be the first to grab an HD2 and flash it on their, let you know how it is, and do a How To for the brave souls that want to try it too.
