This doesn’t mean much to the end consumer (at least for now), but it is good news. So what does that mean? Well, it means that manufacturers can now download the source code from Google and get to work on Froyo releases for their devices. What else does it mean? That developers can now start messing with it to make some custom ROMs for all the poor neglected Android devices still stuck on say Android 1.5 etc.
Which do you think will come out first? Ya, us too.
So devs, come and get your Froyo! Then send us your new Froyo ROMs and we’ll pop them up on the site for everyone to enjoy!
