So just a little interesting tidbit of info. T-Mobile today just announced (relatively quietly) that their new HSPA+ 21mbps network now covers more than 85 million people and that pushes them past Sprint’s current WiMax coverage. What does that mean? Well, that T-Mobile is now the largest network with 4G speeds.
Now, we say 4G speeds because HSPA+ is technically not a 4G technology like WiMax and LTE, but HSPA+ has already been proven faster than Sprint’s WiMax network and is backwards compatible to pretty much all of T-Mobile’s 3G devices so that counts for us ๐
Take a look at the HSPA+ coverage map (then select See Cities with HSPA+)ย and see if your city is up and running soon.
