Cricket Wireless has announced, Huawei Ascend is available for pre-order for

$129.99 and will ship Monday, October 18th. Cricket Wireless is a pre-paid carrier that also has another android phone called Kyocera Zio.

The Huawei Ascend will feature

  • 3.5 inch HVGA display
  • Wi-Fi
  • Music player
  • 3.2MP camera
  • Micro SD port

    i have this phone rooted already wifi tether working i think i will cancel my line with tmobile and i ll keep this phone.

    I’ve played with it for a couple hours and it seems to be OK so far. Have you guys at theunlockr.com tested it yet? if yes, how do you grade it?

    I’m guessing that all smart phones come with a video or display card, if I’m right… that might be one of the major differences between those affordable phones and the ones sold by Tmobile, ATT, ect….
