The German company Synapse Phones made a customizable phone. The Synapse One has a price starting around $410 and will ship in Q1 2011 with an Android 2.2 OS and a 4 inch touch screen. A few things you will be able to customize are.

  • The radio (3G and 4G, including LTE and WiMAX)
  • Bluetooth
  • WiFi
  • up to a 12 MP camera (with a flash or not)
  • mini-HDMI out
  • various memory and storage options
  • and more.

  • hope i can make my own i just signed up on the website i wonder will they let me do one with a full qwerty keyboard

    • If I remember it right, you can’t add a full keyboard on the phone. Basically, its like getting a computer, they provide the body of the device, and you get to pick how good the internal system is.
