On Friday, Apple requested the U.S. District Court in San Jose to file a preliminary injunction which would cease the sale of four Samsung devices. Apple has requested the court to cease all U.S. sales of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1, Infuse 4G, DROID Charge and Nexus S 4G. Apple claims these four specific devices utilize their patented technology without proper authorization. Apple stated in the injunction,

“The message that Samsung conveys to consumers with its imitative smartphone design is simple: ‘It’s just like an iPhone.’ Samsung’s Galaxy 10.1 tablet sends a similar message: ‘It’s just like an iPad.’”

The injunction is the latest legal action in a variety of complaints issued by Apple against Samsung here in the states and abroad.

    I’m really tired of these frivolous lawsuits on the part of Apple.  Just because Samsung says “It’s just like Apple” cannot be taken to mean that it is a copy of Apple.  Where is the real proof?  This sounds like the ridiculous lawsuit where Apple claimed that the trashcan was theirs!  The Big A has about 97% of the tablet market.  Why can’t they compete rather than try underhanded tactics to get the whole market?  Judges please throw this out!  Don’t just accept the Big A’s word just because they are big!  I think we have to start demanding that these corporation have the burden of proof to back up their foolish claims.

      Apple wants to monopolize the market. Since they got a lot of money, they can afford to play games in an attempt to try to manipulate the market in their favor and kill competitor sales.
