After settling the debate on whether to release the Gingerbread update or not for the HTC Desire and Desire Z, the company has now begun meting out the goodness finally.  HTC had given the end of July as the time to expect it and it’s only a few days late, so we’ll let it slide for now.

Let us know if you don’t get the update and we’ll point you to some real classy custom 2.3 ROMs that you might like.

  • Wondering a bit here: Got update to 2.3.3 some days ago – with a lot of fuzz as results. There are no further updates awailable at the moment. Are we very early adopters here in Norway or is it something here I don’t understand?
