Good news for T-Mobile G2 and myTouch 4G users as T-Mobile has updated their support documents for both devices enabling customers to visit their local T-Mobile store and upgrade their device to Gingerbread.
The update will start on August 6th and August 13th for customers in the West and Midwest regions. Owners will be able to obtain the Gingerbread update using an SD card provided by the store location for their G2 or myTouch 4G devices. As with any new update, don’t forget to back up your phone before visiting your local T-Mobile store for some Gingerbread action.
