Univa E510, an affordable Android smartphone from LG spotted

One of the five LG Android phones leaked recently, the Univa does come off as a refurbished Optimus One, which could be a good thing, since the Optimus One was a bestseller for LG.  The Univa E510 features an 800MHz processor Qualcomm processor, a 5MP camera, and a 3.5-inch touchscreen display – all hallmarks of a good budget smartphone, if not a little too low on features.  The only redeeming factor seems to be Gingerbread 2.3, which was the operating system seen running on the device.

The device was recently spotted at a Qualcomm Event in India recently by AndroidOS.in.  There are no details on a release date or a price point, but expect it to come very cheap and pretty soon.
