Sprint has made the LG Optimus Black official by bringing its variant, the LG Marquee, to the US starting October 2nd. The slim Marquee offers Android 2.3, a 4-inch Nova display, a single core 1 GHz processor, and 512 MB of RAM. Additional specs include a 5 megapixel rear facing camera, a 2 megapixel front facing camera, and a Micro SDHC card for up to 32GB of extra storage.
Sprint users can look forward to the handset making the necessary switches between CDMA and EVDO based 3G. With a shipping date of October 2nd, the Marquee is priced at $100 after rebate and with a contract.
For anyone anxious to scoop up this device, Sprint is starting pre-orders on September 20 with a ship date of September 29 for anyone who takes advantage of the pre-order option.
