How to Unroot the Samsung Galaxy Pro (GT-B7510)
Whether you’re selling your device or sending it in for warranty purpose, you’ll want to unroot it first. Unrooting will throw your lost warranty back and you should be having a device with a valid warranty once again. Getting your Samsung Galaxy Pro (GT-B7510) unrooted is as easy as flashing a stock ROM. Once done, you’ll be up and running the unrooted stock fimrware on your device. Read on to know how you can do so:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You should have rooted your device using the procedure given here.
2. Your device needs to have at least 70% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Stock Firmware (Download the appropriate firmware for your device)
2. Odin
III. Unrooting the Samsung Galaxy Pro (GT-B7510):
1. Place both the files you downloaded to your Desktop.
2. Extract contents of both the archives over to your Desktop.
3. Double-click on the Odin executable file and it’ll launch.
4. Click on PDA and select the Stock Firmware file you just extracted to your Desktop.
5. Checkmark the boxes that say Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time.
6. Make sure that the Repartition box isn’t checked, it’s important.
7. Turn OFF your device.
8. Reboot your device into Download mode. To do that, simply hold down the Q+Power buttons together.
9. Once inside Download mode, connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
10. Hit Start button in the Odin and it’ll begin flashing the firmware.
11. Once the firmware’s been flashed, your device will automatically reboot.
12. And you’re done!
Well done! You’ve successfully flashed the stock firmware on your Galaxy Pro. Now it’s unrooted and is running the official Samsung firmware!
