The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has been rooted, all thanks to the developers. 1. Ok. I’ve been through this whole procedure now about 4 times to no avail.

Everything appears to do what it should, except that when I enter download mode on the Galaxy Note, and hit start on the odin (within windows), the odin appears to run through some code briefly (a few seconds) then stops with the following output:

    Enter CS for MD5..
Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
    Please Wait..
    autorootp600mj4.tar.md5 is valid.
    Checking MD5 finished sucessfully..
    Leave CS..
All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 0)

…In the meantime the galaxy note does nothing and has not changed since entering download mode, saying:

    Downloading…
    Do not turn off target!!

unfortunately it stays this way forever, when you DO finally give up and start over, everything boots up as normal with no evidence that anything ever happened at all.

Do some of the downloaded files need to be on the actual android device??
