Nike Training Club brings a ton to the table. Aside from the brand recognition that comes along with Nike from the get-go, it’s got a bunch of different paths for you to take towards fitness from within the app itself via different goals you’re allowed to choose. If that’s not enough, you get to earn points to unlock celebrity workouts, so that you can stay motivated by the tinsel-town residents you want to look like in the first place.

This app is great for Apple junkies. Download this app for free (you could also unlock Premium for a nominal fee) and gain access to intensive workout sessions that are coached by legendary American football tight end Tony Gonzalez. FitStar Personal Trainer is compatible with your native Health app on the iPhone, as well as your Apple TV, which brings your training to the big screen.

For all you no nonsense, bada-bing bada-boom types out there who just don’t have enough time in the day – this is the application for you. With 12 high intensity, hard hitting workouts with short burst exercises you control the duration of, the 7-Minute Workout app offers users of all platforms to be guided through routines seamlessly and effectively.

 IV. Diet Assistant

This app is sworn by by most of its users – and there’s over two million of them at this point – so if you haven’t downloaded Diet Assistant for either iOS or Android, you’re pretty much late to the party. Once you get there, however, you’ll find that Diet Assistant is definitely one of the go to apps in terms of apps to help you stay in shape. After plugging in your current weight, target weight, and motivation for the losing of that weight, the app takes over by concocting meals and recipes that fit within your goal. If that’s not enough, you’ve also got a Fitness and Exercise section, as well as an active community forum to partake in.

This app is right to the point, getting at what’s on everybody’s mind – getting that washboard stomach with a nice sleek six pack. Daily Ab Workout provides instructional videos accompanying a plethora of ab exercises that together create a succinct and worthy workout.
