Ever see an Android device with a slide out QWERTY keyboard and wonder what that would be like? Don’t want to give up your iPhone to find out? No problem. Today we have a possible solution for you; a Bluetooth iPhone case with a slide out QWERTY keyboard. Simply sync it with your bluetooth on your iPhone 4 or 4S, snap it on, and slide out the keyboard to start typing away.

Question is, is it all it’s cracked up to be? Let’s find out.

Pros

  • Physical keyboard gives tactile feedback so will be faster to type for some.
  • Protects your phone (slightly) while wearing it.

Cons

  • Space bar is not centered like on a conventional keyboard (which drives me nuts).
  • The regular onscreen keyboard seems to not work whenever the slide out keyboard is connected via Bluetooth so you have to slide out the keyboard to type anything.

  1. Looks like there is a better version of this available. Appears to be the exact same product (looks identical) except after you slide out the keyboard you can tilt the iPhone up so that it’s angled. That way you can place the case on a table and it acts as a stand. I found it here (surprisingly cheaper than the one you show above): iPhone Keyboard Case. Comes in white too, that’s what I bought. I’ll post here after I have had a chance to use it.
