Sony Playstation Android Phone

Engadget managed to get their hands on the long rumored “Playstation Phone”. The above image is a picture of the actual device and Engadget is reporting the following specs:

Running Android Gingerbread (2.3 or 3.0 or whatever version number it eventually gets)
1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 Processor
512MBs of RAM and 1GB of ROM
3.7″ to 4.1″ Touchscreen
MicroSD slot (not Sony’s proprietary Memory Stick Duo, which is a relief)
Slide out Playstation-ish Controller layout (even has playstation shoulder buttons, and they’ve added a multitouch pad in the center).
Slated for a late 2010 or early 2011 release

The phone is also supposedly going to have a special Sony store (or section in the current Marketplace) for Sony games for the device.

Call of Duty while sitting in class, anyone?
