Verizon LG Revolution gets its official badge, on sale from tomorrow

Dialing in at the No. 4 spot on Verizon’s growing 4G lineup, the LG Revolution was first shown off at the CES this year.  The device features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch touchscreen display, a 5MP camera (1.3MP front facing for video calling), 16 gigs of onboard storage and of course LTE network support.  The other Android-standard hardware that usually accompanies a phone of this caliber is all there too, along with HDMI output and the Netflix app preloaded.  The Revolution is still on Android 2.2 but Gingerbread should be in the oven already for the device, if we are not mistaken.  People counting on the stock search/map apps will find a surprise waiting though, as LG seems to have gone with Bing instead of the default Google this time.

The device seems almost identical to the HTC Thunderbolt that was released in March 2011 but if you are a LG fan, this might tick the right boxes.  Look for it in Verizon stores starting tomorrow with a $250 price tag and a two-year agreement to go along with that.
