How to Retrieve Android Apps With Google Play Online

Google Play online lets you see what apps you have installed, and lets you install apps to a particular device. It can be helpful if you’ve switched devices, or decided to reinstall an app, but couldn’t remember what it was called.

I. Accessing the Online Store

1. Go to https://play.google.com/store?hl=en&tab=w8.

2. Log in to your Google account.

3. Go to ‘My Android Apps’ on the right side. You will see a list of installed apps.

II. Installing Apps

1. If you would like to reinstall an app click the ‘installed’ button next to the app.

2. One of the options is ‘send to another device’ with a drop down menu of your devices connected to that Google account.

3. Click the green ‘install’ button and then click ‘ok.’

4. On your device you should see a message that says ‘successfully installed app’ as if you installed it directly from the Google Play Store on that particular device.

5. You can also use Google Play online to install books, movies and music.
