MyTouch 4G Shows Itself Off In Video Along With A ROM Leak

The MyTouch 4G, formerly known as the MyTouch HD, has a ROM leak and a new video showing off some of the basic features on the phone. The MyTouch 4G video shows off features of the phone like the genius button, the HD camera, video chat/call, and screen share.  Along with that, the video shows the phone having a new home launcher and new icons. Almost everything else in the video is similar to the other MyTouch models. The one thing I found that was ironic was T-Mobile is now advertising the new MyTouch phone as a 4G phone with the name change from HD to 4G, but if you pay attention to the notification bar you will see a H above the arrows instead of 4G.  This means, T-Mobile might not change their label on their HSPA+ network to a 4G network like many had thought so.

The MyTouch 4G ROM turns out to be the HTC Glacier.  The HTC Glacier was once thought it would be HTC’s first Dual-core Android phone and the leaked benchmarks back that up.  The ROM is a zip file and over 300 MB in size.  To download the ROM click here. (PLEASE BE AWARE THIS ROM WILL NOT WORK ON ANY PHONE YET AND IS FOR DEVELOPERS TO LOOK AT AND USE TO CREATE CUSTOM ROMS FOR OTHER DEVICES)
