How to Add Other Shortcuts to Control Center in iOS 7 (Video)

Control center is the screen you pull up from the bottom of your device by dragging your finger up from off the bottom of the screen onto it. It is where you can quickly access Wifi, Bluetooth, AirPlay, Screen brightness, and more. So, wouldn’t it be great if you could add other shortcuts to control center? Thanks to a jailbreak tweak called CCControls, you can do just that. Here’s how to add other shortcuts to control center in iOS 7.

I. Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad

To do this procedure you must be jailbroken. If you aren’t, you can head to our Jailbreak How To’s section and pick the jailbreak for your version of iOS (currently at the time of writing this is 7.0.4). Once done with that procedure and you have Cydia installed, head back here to continue.

II. Install CCControls

1. Open Cydia (if it isn’t still open from the section above).

2. Tap Search in the bottom right corner.

3. Type in CCControls.

4. Tap on CCControls when it shows up.

5. Tap Install in the top right corner.

6. Tap Restart.

III. Setup CCControls

1. Go to Settings.

2. Tap on CCControls.

3. Choose your Theme from the theme tab.

4. Choose what icons to show when the device is locked under Lock Screen Restrictions.

5. Select how many of the icons you’d like to see per page when scrolling through them in the control panel (or turn off paging to have a flowing scroll).

6. Drag and drop the different icons under Enabled to choose their order or drag them under Disabled to hide them from the control center altogether.

Enjoy!
