How to Set Quiet Hours on the OnePlus One
Let’s be honest, we all charge our cell phones on our night stands. It’s there, it’s ready to tweet, and for most people it’s a flash light. But some nights you don’t want to know who’s posting on Facebook at 3AM or get a drunk dial at 4AM (or do you?). On iOS there is Do Not Disturb mode, which unfortunately isn’t normally a part of Android. Fortunately CyanogenMod has come to the rescue with “Quiet Hours”.
1. Pull down the notification shade and tap the box icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
2. Tap on the Settings Icon.
3. Scroll down to and Tap on Sound.
4. Scroll down to and Tap on Quiet Hours.
5. Tap to check the box labeled Enforce quiet hours.
6. Tap on the Start Time.
7. Set the Start Time for Quiet Hours then tap Done.
8. Tap on the End Time.
9. Set the End Time for Quiet Hours then tap Done.
10. Tap on Phone ringer.
11. Select who you want to mute calls for. You have various options ranging from blocking everyone to allowing your favorites to still ring. I chose Mute ringer for all Callers.
12. Set any additional features that you want muted or disabled. For example you can disable notifications or disable the notification light on from of the device. I mean who really wants a red light flashing at them while they are trying to sleep?
13. That’s all there is to it. You can exit out of the Menus and your quiets hours are now set.

Is there a possibility to just keep the phone on silent mode rather than block the callers; eg when I am going to a movie for 2 hours. Even the primitive non smart Nokia phones had this feature to time your silent mode for say 2 hours and then automatically go to normal mode. But the so called “smart” phones do not have this useful feature.
