Video: How to Send Any File via Bluetooth from Your iPhone (Jailbreak Tweak)
Apple’s iOS has a lot of restrictions and there is a lot more you can do once you jailbreak your iPhone. One of these restrictions is the type of files you can share with other devices over Bluetooth. Only certain kind of files can be sent from your iPhone to other devices over Bluetooth. And the case may be you want to share a file that isn’t one of these supported types. So how can you make the transfer possible? If you’re jailbroken, there’s a solution.
Meet AirBlue Sharing, one of the Cydia tweaks for iPhone, that allows you to send any file via Bluetooth from your iPhone. So your important file doesn’t have to be one of the Apple’s chosen file-types, it can be anything and can still be sent to other devices. Here’s how to install the tweak and use it:
I. Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad
1. You must be jailbroken to do this procedure. If you aren’t already, head to our How to Jailbreak iOS 8.1.1 tutorial and finish it, then return here and continue.
II. Install AirBlue Sharing
1. Launch Cydia.
2. Tap Search in the bottom-right corner.
3. Search for and tap on AirBlue Sharing.
4. Tap Purchase.
5. Use your preferred account and method to complete the purchase.
6. Tap Close.
7. Tap Install in the top-right corner.
8. Tap Confirm.
9. Once the tweak’s done installing, tap Reboot Device.
III. Use AirBlue Sharing
1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap Bluetooth.
3. Pair with the device(s) you want to send files to.
4. Pull up the notification centre.
5. Tap AirBlue Sharing and it’ll be enabled.
6. Locate the content that you want to share with others on your device.
7. Tap the Share icon.
8. Tap AirBlue Sharing.
9. Tap the device you want to send the selected file to.
10. Accept the incoming prompt on the target device.
11. It should begin the file transfer.
