Hi, I rooted my Fender in the past to install a Cyanogenmod ROM but want to go back to the original Fender ROM. Do I really have to unroot it by installing cupcake, then root it again, and finally install the Fender ROM? That’s what the instructions suggest, but it doesn’t seem logical to me. Am I missing something? Hope someone can give me some advice please! Thanks!
Honestly this is what I would do and I think it would work. Make sure you have your apps backed up on your computer or titanium backup.
Boot your phone into recovery mode (I have rom manager so clockwork recovery) wipe everything; data, cache, dalviche, battery etc.. then connect your phone to the computer and mount usb storage.
Copy the fender rom to your sd card and unmount usb storage, now click install zip from sd card and select the fender rom and flash it.
That should be it. reboot. Make sure you have your current rom backed up just in case and I usually flash ez terrys froyo kernel after every rom. Good luck
Thank you so much for your help! It worked perfectly!
Im glad my advise helped you! You are welcome!
