  1. Is speed really an issue with this phone?! In any case, this rom also has an overclock kernal (up to 1.7 Ghz) and gets rid of tons of the crap that tmobile packages in with the stock rom (TV, game trials, etc…). With the exception of overclocking, it was only intended to be a cleaner version of stock. There is also a themed version that is pretty spiffy. I’ve been on it since their first post and it is 100% stable. Not bad considering it is the only attempt at something custom for this phone since it’s release date.

  2. hello I am one oth the people who made iced glacier… hey micheal is wrong Quadrant has got almost 3000 using. my rom with Gr8gorilla kernel which comes with it… justsaying

  3. Micheal you, are crazy on My rom I have got right under 3000 its using Gr8gorilla overclock kernel! your negative comments are not only incorect but a waste of space 🙂 kinda like this

  4. Aside from T-Mobile’s bloatware being removed… are there any other benefits? I could just temp root and then uninstall some of the apps manually I am assuming.

  5. No tht wont work. You need permanent root to do that. One major bennefit of this rom is that he added adbrite remount which allows us to flash overclocking kernels. Flash this then follow our how to overclock procedure for the mytouch 4g and you can have a smooth phone running at 1.6ghz 🙂

  6. I’m surprised no one has made a stock 2.2 on this yet. This phone running a clean version of android would be both beautiful AND beast. Call me crazy, but Google does just fine with their OS. Why does everyone try to mess with it by adding gimmicky crap!

  8. This is a pretty good ROM overall I’ve been using it for the past few days. Took some advice on XDA about SetCPU settings and my battery life is amazing. This ROM is very stable with the new kernel.

The Youtube and FFC issues will like have to be fixed with the Gingerbread kernel. It’s not really a big deal if you switch to portrait mode from landscape in Youtube and w/ this ROM your FFC works. Just used it last night.

I’m not really trying to crank out Quadrant scores(I’m around 2500) just get something stable, excellent battery life, and really no lag when switching between apps. This seems like a pretty good ROM if you really don’t mind the Sense interface.

  10. w/ Matt on this one. My Quadrant scores improved from the stock ROM from 1700 to 2600. My battery life is way better too. To each his own I suppose.

  11. How exactly do we get the new rom onto the phone? I was using Blackberries before, and this mt4g is my first android phone.

  15. II’ve been using the latest unthemed Rom for about a week. Overclocked aand set CPU downloads also, my phone is still laggy and freezes every so often. Battery life has not changed even with custom adjustments with CPU tuner and set CPU apps. Am I doing something wrong? Please let me know.

  16. so this rom is essentially theme free? if I get this rom can I instal other themes ? where can i get other themes for the mt4g for?
and i would also like to know about the settings for extending battery life on this rom.
    Thanks 🙂

  17. I had put this on my phone 3-4-11 and it has been great. Ive seen no real lags compared to fcatory and I would defenately suggest it for use. I had tried the a could others but market is essential to reach your paid apps if you didnt back them up on to the sdcard.
