How to Make Your Lockscreen/Control Center More Functional in iOS 7 (Video)

IntelliscreenX is a tweak that was very popular for iOS 6 and a lot of people have been patiently awaiting its arrival on iOS 7. That day has come. The tweak that allows you to replace your lockscreen and you control center with a more function option that has feeds from your different social networks, email or RSS, has come to iOS 7. In addition to adding some ticker-like features it also comes with a new app switcher and some other bonus features. Here’s how to install it and use it.

I. Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad

To do this procedure you must be jailbroken. If you aren’t, you can head to our Jailbreak How To’s section and pick the jailbreak for your version of iOS (currently at the time of writing this is 7.0.6). Once done with that procedure and you have Cydia installed, head back here to continue.

II. Install IntelliscreenX

1. Open Cydia.

2. Tap Search in the bottom right corner.

3. Type in IntelliscreenX 7.

4. Tap on IntelliscreenX 7 when it shows up.

5. Tap Install in the top right corner.

6. Tap Restart.

III. Setup IntelliscreenX 7

1. Go to Settings.

2. Tap on IntelliscreenX.

3. Add your social feeds you want to display (or tap edit and drag them down to not display them).

4. Change the other options to your own personal preference.

IV. Use IntelliscreenX 7

1. You’re lock screen and control center will be replaced with the new IntelliscreenX screen.
