This is a great Gingerbread ROM. It’s battery life and stability are excellent. You simply can’t go wrong with this ROM. When it comes to Gingerbread ROMs for the Eris, it is either this one or Workshed’s GSB ROM (GingerBreadShed).
@Tom2112
Thank you for mentioning the battery life. I am going to use this one on my friend’s Eris which is coming in the mail very shortly.
The XtrSense 5.0 ROM battery life is the most poorest of ROMs that I have tried, because the camera consumes 92% and I don’t know why. I found out after I flashed to cricket and gave it a to a friend of mine who later got a plan from cricket and told me that the battery life was a nightmare. It doesn’t last a day when you remove it from the charge. I fear that if I change the ROM, it is going to disrupt the phone’s network and that my friend will have to go back to cricket to have it reconnected and redo the painful MMS and WEB. But, I am afraid that that will be the only option. Otherwise my friend will go crazy!
