Google TV Site Updates
Google TV website has significantly upgraded in anticipation for this months likely launch. The site features a showcasing of some of the features of the Android powered TV platform. For example, one of the pages highlighted various apps that will be available like Netflix, Pandora, Twitter, Amazon video on demand, CNBC, Facebook, and many more.
There is two products that are featured on the product page. One is the well known Sony’s Internet HDTV and the other is a Logitech Revue set-top-box. Sony is also releasing a Google TV powered Blue-ray player which maybe launch later. Dish Network users will also have enhanced features like DVR access from the search bar. Hopefully Direct TV will join later on.
One of the biggest feature that most will like is using your phone as a remote and as a keyboard. Hopefully later there will be features like caller ID on the TV. As of right now Google TV and set-top-box users should have access to the full Android Market Place sometime in 2011.

google tv look awosome. i own a blog in quebec and i did a little review of it. i really hope its gonna be realease in my part of canada next year !
It should be and even if its not you could get it ship to your house because it works over your WiFi.
I’m just iffy on if I should get it because I really want a 3D TV where you don’t have to wear glasses and as long as my current TV doesn’t break I think I wont get another TV. On top of that I have Windows Media Center and both my Xbox and PS3 does mostly what this TV/box does. So unless if google puts out a 3D TV with some 3D apps and stuff, the cheaper route for myself and honestly anyone else is just get a gaming system like the Xbox or PS3 and use that as your media center.
I picked up the Logitech Revue with Google TV and fell in love almost immediately! I definitely preferred to pick up the set-box vs. buying a brand new TV. I love my TV, and the Revue was not very expensive since I work and subscribe with DISH Network. It’s only $179 through DISH directly vs. the $299 retail price tag. Definitely a perk if you are a DISH customer, cause not only to you pay less but you can integrate it with your DVR and get more features than others. It’s pretty cool.
