How to Add the Fleksy Custom Keyboard to Other Apps in iOS 7 (Video)
Fleksy is a custom note-taking app that is special for one reason; it comes with the Fleksy custom keyboard. For most iPhone users a different keyboard on the device is a very foreign thing but since it is Fleksy’s own app, Apple has allowed them to put in their own keyboard. The keyboard is great and has some neat features that help differentiate it from the stock one that makes it fun and easy to use. But what about using it in other apps?
After jailbreaking and installing this free jailbreak tweak, you can do just that. Simply switch to the Fleksy keyboard as your new keyboard with the tap of a button and enjoy its unique styling throughout iOS. Here’s how to install it and set it up.
I. Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad
To do this procedure you must be jailbroken. If you aren’t, you can head to our Jailbreak How To’s section and pick the jailbreak for your version of iOS (currently at the time of writing this is 7.0.6). Once done with that procedure and you have Cydia installed, head back here to continue.
II. Install Fleksy
1. Open the App Store.
2. Tap Search at the bottom.
3. Type in Fleksy.
4. Tap on Fleksy when it shows up.
5. Tap Install in the top right corner.
6. Once installed, open Fleksy and go through it’s normal setup tutorial.
III. Install Fleksy Enabler
1. Open Cydia.
2. Tap Search in the bottom right corner.
3. Type in Fleksy Enabler.
4. Tap on Fleksy Enabler when it shows up.
5. Tap Install in the top right corner.
6. Tap Restart.
IV. Use Fleksy Enabler
1. Open the messaging app.
2. Tap in the typing section just above the keyboard.
3. Tap Fleksy when it shows up.
Enjoy!
Sweet! “Its unique styling”, by the way. Just.. Just sayin’ 🙂
