How to Get to Different Tabs in Notification Center Much Easier in iOS 7 (Video)

There’s a jailbreak tweak that allows you to quickly get to any tab in your notification center and even add the ability to automatically choose the Today tab if there aren’t any notifications. It’s called NCObey, it’s a great addition to notification center and, best of all, it’s free. Here’s how to use NCObey and improve your notification center functionality.

I. Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad

To do this procedure you must be jailbroken. If you aren’t, you can head to our Jailbreak How To’s section and pick the jailbreak for your version of iOS (currently at the time of writing this is 7.0.4). Once done with that procedure and you have Cydia installed, head back here to continue.

*Don’t be scared, it’s easy to unjailbreak your device.

II. Install NCObey

1. Open Cydia (if it isn’t still open from the section above).

2. Tap Search in the bottom right corner.

3. Type in NCObey.

4. Tap on NCObey when it shows up.

5. Tap Install in the top right corner.

6. Tap Restart.

III. Setup NCObey

1. Head to Settings.

2. Tap on NCObey.

3. Setup various options here on how it functions (from hiding the tabs, making it work as you are dragging for more of a dynamic feel, setting a default tab, etc.).

IV. Use NCOBey

1. Pull down from off the top of the screen to the left to bring up Today.

2. Pull down from off the top of the screen in the center to bring up All Notifications.

3. Pull down from off the top of the screen to the right to bring up Missed Notifications.
